The Lodge

The Lodge started in October 2021 with providing weekly meals to 10+ people who were residing the motor lodge. In the Spring of 2022, we started grilling lunch at the lodge and provide lunch to the residents and others in the community passing by. We provide 60-75 deals each week. It’s more than providing a meal to the hungry—it’s becoming friends. It’s not uncommon for a new friend to sit down and pour out their hearts about the abuses they have experienced. People who feel ignored, forgotten, or discarded by society find a safe place at The Lodge. We strive to share the love and hope we find in Christ to a community that suffers from extreme poverty, lack of opportunities, violence and hopelessness.
