One of the joys of regional pastoral ministry is preaching in a different church each week, and discovering what God is doing in each locality. Traditionally, I begin the new year by visiting with the region's "host" church, Hamilton Square Baptist, and preached on Jesus' 3 temptations. 

The highlight of the morning was witnessing 5 people come forward to become members of the congregation! Three will be baptized this Sunday. I would be delighted if every church I visit in 2017 could reach out to and welcome new members!
