President, Baptist World Alliance

As the new Baptist World Alliance President, Paul Msiza will focus on the BWA’s five year theme of “Jesus Christ, the Door.”  He states that “the door speaks about freedom, emphasizes the issue of liberty—freedom of religion, freedom of worship, freedom for justice. The people need to be set free from all sorts of shackles.”  Pastors and clergy will be guided in a rich discussion of how to emphasize issues of justice without abandoning preaching the gospel of conversion.
