The current immigration crisis has highlighted the pressing need for compassion and empathy in our communities and our world. As Christians, we are called to respond with open hearts and a willingness to help those in need, remembering that each person is made in God's image.
ABCNJ was awarded a Palmer Grant through the Multi Regional Corporation. Our project, “Flourishing in Exile: Strengthening the Faith of Parents,” will provide resources and educational opportunities for parents and congregations.
Communities in Action is a collaboration between our current New Church Development and Public Mission Committees. This collaboration aspires to support one another in discovering ways to respond with love and courage in their communities.
Since the pandemic, there has been an increasing awareness and advocacy around domestic violence, which have led to significant legislative changes aimed at better-protecting victims and ensuring justice. New Jersey is demonstrating a strong commitment to reform and reassuring the public about the importance of protecting victims.
Culminating almost a year-long collaborative journey with First Baptist Church of Westfield, the Regional Office of the American Baptist Churches of New Jersey officially moves to Westfield on Monday, July 22, 2024.
There was much to celebrate as the Oaklyn Baptist Church gathered on Sunday, June 9th, for worship.
