ABCNJ's Asian American Annual Worship Gathering A Big Success

On Sunday, April 30th 2017 at 5:00 PM, the ABCNJ Annual Asian American Worship Service was held at First Baptist Peddie Memorial Church in Newark. The worship and gathering was unique and inspirational – and the extended invitation for churches to bring children, youth, and young adults created a great energy. There were nine Churches, and about 70 people, in attendance.

Our keynote speaker was Rev. Miriam Mendez, ABCNJ Associate Regional Pastor, It gave us all opportunity to “Preach the Word” 2 Timothy 4:1-8, whether in season or out of season! The message was very inspiring and powerful for the participants. We also had a meaningful and honoring celebration for her 17 years ordination anniversary. Thank Rev. Miriam for your service of the Kingdom of God!

Many thanks, also, to the Congregation of First Baptist Peddie Memorial, the Peddie Church Praise Team, and their Senior Pastor Rev. James Kang for hosting this event and preparing a wonderful meal for all in attendance.
