Baptist Camp Lebanon Experience Shared

I had the privilege to worship at First Baptist Church of Laurelton, Brick on this past Sunday and as part of the service they had a children's story time. Well, to my joy and excitement, this one was a report back to the church by Destiny on her wonderful first time experience attending a week long camp at Baptist Camp Lebanon. Setting there hearing about getting up early to go down to the flag pole for prayer and then her telling about the joy she had experienced all week and the desire to stay longer but knowing she had to go back home with a week she will always remember. Her Grandparents shared with me after the service they were not sure if she would make it through the first day, not along the entire week because this was her first time to attend the camp. To their joy and surprise, she made them proud and everyone had smiles on their faces when they picked her up from camp. The church too was blessed, as was I, to hear all that God was doing in these summer months at Baptist Camp Lebanon. This is truly a great worship experience that I pray has happened in your church as the kids return from camp.
