Baptist Camp Lebanon: Summer 2017
We recently finished the first few weeks of the summer season 2017. This year, our theme of “Step Out of the Boat” is designed to challenge campers and staffers to step out in faith and share the good news of Jesus Christ.
Our first two camps were Sailing One, where campers learned to sail on the lake in addition to regular camp activities, and Junior One, where elementary-age campers experienced all the fun of a week in the great outdoors. Both sessions went smoothly with campers, staffers, and volunteers all sharing in the fun times that surround a week at Camp Lebanon.
The weather was great, highlighted by a five-minute hailstorm during dinner on Tuesday! With everyone indoors during the storm, a staff member just grabbed a guitar and we all sang a few more songs.
There is still time to get involved in this powerful and life-changing ministry. We have several camp sessions left this summer, including Camp Survival, Senior High Camp, and sessions of Sailing and Junior Camp. Give us a call at 908-236-2638 or visit our website at www.camplebanon.com to see how you can be a part of the Camp Lebanon experience.
P.S. Even with the theme of “Step Out of the Boat,” all of our sailing campers stayed relatively dry!
