ABCUSA Will Have A Gathering Point At The Rally 2 End Racism

American Baptist Churches USA have purchased a Tent on the Mall for April 4th. We encourage all ABC Churches and members to check in at the Tent. Tents will be positioned on Madison Drive on the Mall between 12th and 14th Streets. Look for the ABC USA flag.

Please encourage all coordinators to register their buses with the NCCC. Buses may drop off passengers and pick up on Independence Avenue between 7th – 14th Streets, SW.  Buses may then park at RFK Stadium or one of the church locations listed below.

For buses choosing to park at RFK stadium, they are advised to go to the goDCgo website to pay beforehand.  The committee recommends parking at one of the churches below and making a donation. For those with disabilities the ADA drop off location will be at 12th and Jefferson Street, SW. Specific instructions for bus captains will be made available by the end of this week and I will forward that information to you. For those who will already be in DC – the closest Metro Station is the Smithsonian Metro Station. For more information on travel, please click or tap here.

There will be limited seating for Seniors and those with special needs. We are also advising people to bring lawn chairs as it is a long day.Food is permitted on the Mall.For those who will already be in DC and would like to participate in a Silent Prayer Walk. We will be gathering across the street from the MLK Memorial at the Polo Field 7:00 AM. There will be a few remarks followed by a silent march to the Mall.  All this information will be updated on the website by tomorrow.
