Tropical Storm Ida in New Jersey

Dear ABCNJ Family,

Last night (9/1/21) the remnants of Tropical Storm Ida fell upon New Jersey and our neighboring friends, from New York, Delaware and Pennsylvania. Governors from New York and New Jersey declared a state of emergency. According to the news, 3 rivers across New Jersey are still rising and expected to reach peak flood stage later today (Thursday 9/2/21).

Beginning this morning, your ABCNJ ministry team has been reaching out to all of our 280 churches and over 350 pastors to check in on their well-being and to asses if there has been any damage to the church buildings due to the storm. We will keep you posted as to what we find out.

However, if you need immediate assistance due to damages incurred by the storm, please call the ABCNJ office as soon as possible. Or you may email the office at office@abcnj.net.

Our prayers are with you. May the One who calms the storm speak peace into our lives and circumstances in this time of need.

Peace,
Rev. Miriam Méndez

Executive Minister and Senior Regional Pastor
