Kathy Charland called as International Ministries Missionary

Kathy Charland has been called to serve in partnership with the women’s ministries of the Baptist Convention of Zambia (BCZ) to assist in the establishment of a Women’s Ministries Center. The center is to serve as a training center and extension base for literacy programs and economic development initiatives, utilizing such tools as agriculture, animal husbandry, small business development and micro-enterprise loan programs to empower women and alleviate poverty within the context of Christian discipleship. Serving within one of the world's poorest countries, where women often lack access to education and opportunity for economic sustainability, the BCZ is eager for Kathy to arrive and for God to change lives both now and for eternity through the ministries of the center.
