Rev. Linda Pepe, of the First Baptist Church of Moorestown, was the recipient of the NJ NAACP 2013 Relgious Leader of Excellence Award at the NJ NAACP Annual Convention in Atlantic City, NJ. Her ministry has a threefold focus. First, helping people understand their unconditional acceptance in God. That we are all loved without merit, accepted exactly as we are, and loved no matter what. Second, helping people discern, discover and embrace their individual God given gifts and talents, and explore how those gifts can be used in the wider community to bring about what Dr. Martin Luther King called, The Beloved Community. Third, on the work of healing and reconciliation. (2 Cor. 2:18)

According to Jennifer Bradley, a member of Pastor Pepe's congregation states, "By recieivng this award from the NAACP, it is a validation of Pastor Linda's ministry as she works to bring peple together and encourages people to be in a right and genuine relationship with others. "
